IDES hosts terrific UI Integrity Conference

On Point Technology would like to thank everyone from the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), the National Association of State Workforce Agencies and the U.S. Department of Labor who contributed to a terrific UI Integrity Conference April 4–5 in Chicago. Special thanks to IDES Director Brenda Russell, Benefit Payment Control Manager Charlene McLaughlin and the IDES conference staff who did a wonderful job of organizing and managing the event.
We couldn't be more pleased with the number of attendees who stopped by to see Barts, Aware and Recover in action. We received much positive feedback and had several visitors return to the exhibit two or three times. We were most appreciative of the kind comments presenters from the Washington State Department of Employment Security made about Barts and Aware in their session—we are certain they motivated some attendees to stop by for a demo.
In addition to a top-notch program with first-rate presenters, the food was terrific and the night at the Shedd Aquarium was a real treat. This conference was an unforgettable event where information and experiences were shared, old acquaintances renewed and new contacts established. Illinois certainly raised the bar and we look forward to attending the 2008 conference—wherever it may be!
