NASWA Forum a huge success
April 11, 2005
On Point Technology recently exhibited at the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) 2005 Winter Policy Forum, held February 28 through March 2 in Washington D.C. at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.
With more than 200 participants in attendance, On Point Technology representatives Michael Lorsbach, Michael Marshman and Bob Yokavonus demonstrated the company's software products—Aware, Barts and Webs—to staff members from 35 states, many of whom came back to see the demo more than once. US Department of Labor officials were especially enthusiastic about the software demo, which highlighted 19 one-click audits in Aware, and kept sending state representatives to see the demos. With the crowd standing three deep at times, even a false fire alarm that emptied the hotel couldn't deter interest in On Point Technology's impressive software suite.
Also at the conference, Workforce Reporter made its debut as a separate module; the crowd responded positively and quickly realized potential additional uses for the module in areas such as service distribution, resource administration, labor market information and quality control. The successful exhibition of current software options generated interest in future On Point Technology developments, as many people asked when unemployment insurance tax audits would be available.
